HERNDON, VA (May 24, 2018) – NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has announced the 2018 recipients of its diversity student scholarship. A component of NAIOP’s strategic initiative to promote diversity in commercial real estate, the scholarship program supports students who are pursuing a degree in commercial real estate.

By advancing a more inclusive workforce, we are working to create a stronger and more competitive industry,” said Thomas J. Bisacquino, president and CEO of NAIOP. “Our diversity student scholarship recipients exemplify the drive and commitment to the industry that enriches our communities and enhances the built environment.”
NAIOP is awarding four $5,000 graduate student scholarships as well as two $2,500 undergraduate student scholarships to individuals from demographics that are traditionally under-represented in commercial real estate and whose universities are part of the NAIOP University Membership program.
