Knutson Construction, a leading builder in the Twin Cities market, announces Erik Gunderson, Paul Deppa, Jon Grimm, and Peter Nickel have joined the firm as it continues to grow its business in the Twin Cities region.
Erik Gunderson joins Knutson in the capacity of corporate controller. With over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, strategy, operations management, planning and analysis, Gunderson will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company to mitigate risk, enhance financial accuracy, and ensure that reported results comply with accepted accounting principles and standards. Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and also an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management.
Paul Deppa joins Knutson as a general superintendent where he will work closely with the Minneapolis operations team to oversee projects from acquisition through completion. Deppa brings more than 18 years of experience in the role of general superintendent, a strong history of success on a variety of project types and sizes, and is passionate about growing client relationships.
Jon Grimm joins Knutson in the role of IT support analyst, where he will work closely with Knutson’s staff to help meet all staffing and project technology needs. Jon is a 2012 graduate from Minnesota State University, Mankato and brings more than five years of industry helpdesk, systems administration, networking and customer service experience.
Peter Nickel joins Knutson as project engineer where he will be working on site at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino project. Nickel will work closely with subcontractors assisting with submittals, RFI’s, routing invoices and change orders, and coordinating subcontractor bids and contracts.
