Heidi Hamilton, PE, has been promoted to managing leader for the Community Development practice in Stantec’s eight-state Midwest region. In her new role, Hamilton is responsible for attracting and retaining team members, resource management, professional service delivery and financial performance. Additionally, she is responsible for all aspects of successful day-to-day operations of Stantec’s largest office in the Central U.S.
Hamilton has extensive experience working in engineering and public works administration in municipal government. She oversaw the delivery of hundreds of millions of dollars of capital projects, many of which were in collaboration with county, state, and federal agencies. Hamilton also played a key role in the development of Minnesota’s two light rail transit lines.
Hamilton is a licensed professional engineer in Minnesota. She is also active with the Minnesota Chapter of the American Public Works Association, serves on the Hennepin County Capital Budget Task Force, and is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Hamilton takes over this role from Tom Bader, who is now the regional leader for Stantec’s Midwest region. Bader will now focus on focus on multiple business line growth and productivity as well as collaboration across business lines and geographies.
Design and engineering firm Stantec is continually growing and adapting. Earlier this year, Stantec relocated its 175-person Roseville office to downtown Minneapolis. Stantec is invested in supporting the growth and prosperity of greater Minnesota, suburban, and urban communities.
