Cushman & Wakefield announced that Tod Lickerman, who was named CEO of the Americas in a major realignment of the brokerage’s senior leadership just over a year ago, has left the company and will be replaced by Shawn Mobley, who most recently served as president of the company’s East Division. The Chicago-based CRE services company also announced the promotion of John Forrester to global president and Michelle Hay to global head of human resources.

It’s the latest of several changes to Cushman’s senior management team in the Americas, including the assignment earlier this month of brokerage and capital markets CEO Joe Stettinius to the position of executive vice chairman, strategic investments, and handing global capital markets and investor services CEO Carlo Sant’Albano the added role of chief executive overseeing those functions in the Americas. …full story

Kyle Schoppmann, Manhattan market leader and head of occupier services for CBRE’s New York Tri-State region, has been selected to succeed John Germano as executive managing director and market leader for the Greater Washington, D.C./Baltimore region.

Schoppmann joined CBRE in 2007 as managing director of brokerage services after having previously worked as a consulting partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM, roles that saw her head up global teams responsible for sales and marketing strategies, enterprise software development and business process improvement. As the Manhattan market leader for CBRE, Schoppmann oversees the day-to-day sales operations for all service lines in the market.

Corey Abdo has been promoted to partner at the New York City office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors). Abdo will help facilitate CBC’s growth in this area, working alongside partners Catherine O’Toole and Greg Gang.

Prior to joining CBC Advisors, Abdo spent 12 years at Winoker Realty, where he focused on growing landlord and tenant relationships and was eventually promoted to partner. After selling that business in 2014, he joined CBC Advisors and served as executive managing director of leasing and sales. Abdo began his real estate career in 1986 when he joined Newmark & Company, working at the firm’s West Side office for 17 years.

CBRE has promoted three members of the company’s industrial and logistics real estate services practice in Cincinnati, OH to senior vice president.

Jeremy Kraus, Tim Schenke and Doug Whitten (pictured, left to right) are all members of the industrial services provider group, a top-producing team that has brokered more than 59 million square feet of industrial space on behalf of tenants and property owners throughout the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati markets.

Matthew Akhee and Saxon Evans (pictured, right) joined Hold-Thyssen, Inc. as directors of investment sales. In their new roles, the two will focus on the acquisition and disposition of assets across the country.

Akhee was most recently a sales specialist for Marcus & Millichap, overseeing multifamily and retail products. Before that he worked for wealth management firm, AXA Advisors. Evans also worked for Marcus & Millichap, where he was authorized to sell 1 million square feet of property in the Southeast during his first 12 months in the business.

Schuckman Realty hired Trent E. Dickey as its vice president of New York City landlord representation, a newly-created position. In his new role, Dickey will lead the charge in managing brokerage teams and executing deals that grow Schuckman Realty’s landlord leasing operations throughout the five boroughs.

Before his appointment to Schuckman, Dickey led retail leasing at Cohen Equities and managed a five million square foot portfolio across 27 states. Earlier in his career, he closed on more than $60 million in Manhattan and Brooklyn office and retail assets as director of brokerage with NAI Global of NYC. He has also worked as a leasing representative with Acadia Realty Trust.

Miami-based multifamily investment firm Lloyd Jones Capital has brought in Neil Bertrand as its new vice president of acquisitions. Bertrand will lead the firm’s acquisition efforts for the Texas market.

In his career, he has been involved in acquisition analysis, due diligence, renovation, new construction, and lease-up for properties in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri and North Carolina. He has also managed conventional, tax credit, senior housing and student housing portfolios. The 20-year industry veteran joins Lloyd Jones Capital from multifamily property management firm SIMC Management, where he spent the past year as a regional property manager. He also spent time at SB Residential, JRK Property Holdings and Ledic Realty Co.

SVN/Parsons Commercial Group / Boston boosted its brokerage team with the addition of Alex Wood as an advisor. Wood’s role includes representing tenants and property owners in the metro-west area. He will also collaborate with the marketing team to market property listings.

Wood earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Coastal Carolina University.
