NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, announces that Christopher Ware has assumed the role of vice president of business development and strategic initiatives.
In this role, Ware is charged with identifying and evaluating new business, product and strategic opportunities for NAIOP. He’ll do this in conjunction with his work in leading the NAIOP business development team, where his department creates, implements, and manages advertising and sponsorship opportunities for various association products and events, including Development magazine and six association conferences.
“During his 17 year tenure with NAIOP, Chris has proven himself as a forward-looking leader who is continually developing strategic opportunities and partners that move NAIOP forward,” said Thomas J. Bisacquino, NAIOP president and CEO. “His drive, persistence and extensive experience always produce results that maximize exposure for our supporters and benefit our members.”
Ware joined NAIOP and its business development department in 2001 as a sales manager and was promoted to vice president of business development in 2013.
Ware is a graduate of The College of William and Mary in Virginia with a B.A. in history. Before joining NAIOP, Ware served as the exhibition sales manager for J. Spargo and Associates.
