A Chicago developer wants to buy a former Walgreens Boots Alliance office campus in the northern suburbs and tear down the buildings for a mixed-use development in a planned entertainment district, adding to the list of projects nationally — and particularly in the Chicago suburbs — that would repurpose sprawling, outdated corporate complexes.
